The oriental dance,
native of the Middle East, is essentially danced by women and
expresses at once all the femininity, the vitality and the
sensuality.
It is recognized as one
of the most ancient dances in the world.
There are several
styles of oriental dance, depending on the country of origin,
but this art is always characterized by the flexibility and the
sensuality of its movements. This dance composes with lively and
jerky rhythms as well as with slow and fluid ones.
The Egyptian cinema
made famous big dancers as Tahia Carioca, Samia Gamal, and Naima
Akef and we were able to discover the oriental dance in Europe
and in America in cabarets in the middle of 1930s and 1940s.
Since then,
but especially since the 1990s, this dance is known in all
around the world; it is practised by a very wide public and is
addressed to anyone.

Beyond the
cultural enrichment which brings the oriental dance, as you
listen to the rhythm and to the oriental melody, it contributes
to the real physical and psychological good to be, because it
brings grace, flexibility of the body, harmony and precision of
the movements. It also learns to separate all the parts of the
body, as well as to control manage the space.
It allows to escape
and to exert while enjoying yourself on lively rhythms and is
appreciated by the women of any ages and any origins.
